Hello $6 per gallon gas

The sham of a bill (Cap and Trade) that our humble servants in the House of Representatives are passing today is going to bring us rediculous energy prices.

They cross their fingers behind their backs and call this a "green jobs bill" that will help reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Conveniently forgetting that it is their subservience to the environmental lobby that created our dependence on foreign oil.

The truth is, we have more oil than most of the middle east countries that we buy it from, but environmental laws prohibit us from getting it. Don't let somebody qoute some BS US Geological Survey report that says we hardly have any oil or natural gas. Here's why. I have a colleague that bought a house with a natural gas well in 1977. At that time the USGS did a survey and estimated that the well would last 10 years. I talked to him last year (2008) and he still has plenty of natural gas flowing. Safe to say the USGS is a little conservative on their estimates.

The best economists in the country conservatively estimate that Cap and Trade will increase gasoline prices by 75 cents per gallon and the average home's electric bill will increase 90% by 2012.

I don't know about you but I can't afford to be green. Before you go Climate Change on me, chew on this, average annual global temperatures have been DECREASING since 1998!

Didn't inheritance used to be a good thing?

President Obama uttered the word "inherited" about a quadrillion times in his first five months in office. OK maybe that's an exaggeration, he only said it a few hundred times...the media liars made up the difference.

This seems like a pretty obvious one, but I guess I have to be the one to tell you. He didn't "inherit" anything, HE WON IT! And he spent more money than any candidate in history to win it. So stop with the incessant whining!

I know, semantics. Lets pretend for a moment that he did inherit something. Who did he inherit it from? I'll let you decide.

In December 2006 (yes six years into the reign of that evil tyrant Bush) Unemployment was 4.4%, the DOW was around 12,000 and wages were through the roof. Then what happened? Let me think...Oh yeah, Democrats took heavy control of the House and Senate in January 2007. Remind me...what shape was our economy in two years later?

Czars a Plenty

Congratulations! You now employ more Czars than at any other time in our country's history.

You probably heard this once or twice over the last few weeks. However, what the media liars didn't tell you is that these people are not paid like most federal employees. Their salaries are not published and they do not answer to any constituents. They answer only to the president (more likely his advisors) and their salaries are kept confidential because they are paid from a "special white house fund." This is supposed to make you feel better.

They can dress it up any way they want, but remember, every dollar the government spends, regardless of what "fund" it comes from, originated from your pocket!

Editing

One of the main strategies used by media liars and their string pullers in congress is "editing".

On last night's news I saw the media liars fawning all over the idea of a new, bigger and better regulatory agency to "reign in those evil banks that got us into this mess due to greed and lack of regulation". (Ignore the fact that the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 laid the ground work for the current economic crisis...chalk one
up for big government.)

The media liars presented all these supposed positives of more regulation and how citizens will benefit from it. Then they cut to an interview of a Republican Senator that is against the bill and make him look like a total ass. But of course they left out the part where he explains how the bill will hurt America by driving out businesses and stunting the growth of the ones that remain. For those of you that don't know, growing companies mean more jobs. No matter what happens the only thing that can get us out of this recession is increased private sector employment.

Welcome

America is a nation of doers! Allthough this is a noble trait, being productive has its drawbacks. One such drawback is insufficient time to verify the news that we hear.

Our humble servants in DC have made a living preying upon your busy schedule (how else would a group with a 13% approval rating achieve a 90% re-elect rate). The main weapon of these deceivers is the mainstream media. They use these lackies to pen false narratives, knowing that most of us lack the time to research their lies and find the truth.

This Blog is my attempt at bringing a small piece of daily truth to you in a medium that you can access quickly and easily.

Thanks for checking in, and please come back tomorrow for my first nugget of truth.
