What happened to 95%?

Over, and over, and over again Barack Obama promised that 95% of Americans would not see any kind or type of tax increase if he were elected. Only those ruthless villains "the rich" would need to cough up some more of their ill gotten gains.

Did your media source happen to mention that 56% of cigarette smokers fall below the poverty line. They probably left that part of the story out when they were celebrating...Err uh...reporting on the $0.61 per pack tax increase that Obama passed in the first few months of his presidency.

I'm sure at some point the media liars will start telling tou that "of course he was only talking about federal income taxes" when he made the 95% promise. But you are smart enough to know that a politician with a law degree from Harvard doesn't leave anything open for interruption. He just knew that he could make any promise, regardless of reasonableness, and the media liars would never hold him accountable for it. Sad thing is, he was right.
